FreshLinen

A Touch Stay alternative with one flat price

FreshLinen and Touch Stay both make digital welcome books for vacation rentals. The main difference is how you pay. FreshLinen charges $49.99 a year for your whole account, covering every property you host on it. Touch Stay charges per property, and its plans start at $99 a year for the first one.

The gap grows with each property you add. Three properties on Touch Stay's Starter rates come to about $195 a year; on FreshLinen they are still $49.99. Touch Stay also keeps some features out of its cheapest tier, including two that FreshLinen treats as basics: the offline guidebook and guest analytics. Everything below can be checked against both public pricing pages.

What Touch Stay costs as you add properties

Touch Stay's Starter plan is priced per property, with a lower rate on each additional one. FreshLinen is the same $49.99 whether you host one place or ten.

1 property$49.99 a year$99 a year

What is included, and what waits for a higher tier

Touch Stay's cheapest Starter tier leaves out the offline guidebook and the performance analytics, which arrive at Growth ($139 a year), along with PIN access, a custom domain, short URLs, and review-collection tools. FreshLinen includes the offline book and guest analytics at $49.99, half the price of the Touch Stay tier that first adds them. The one thing Touch Stay ships on every tier is the upsell Store, the part FreshLinen leaves out on purpose.

Where Touch Stay is ahead

Touch Stay has things FreshLinen does not. It can schedule messages to guests around their stay, it connects to the OwnerRez and BookingSync property management systems, and it has been around longer. If those matter to your setup, Touch Stay may suit you better. If you want the book, the price, and nothing sold to your guests, that is what FreshLinen is for.

Switching from Touch Stay

There is nothing to migrate technically. Paste your Airbnb listing link and FreshLinen drafts the book for you, or paste in what you already wrote; most hosts are done in an evening, and everything stays in free build mode until you are ready to publish. The one thing to redo is any printed QR code, since it points at the old link. FreshLinen gives you fresh per-section QR codes and a wifi fridge card to print once you publish.
